I once stood up in a courthouse wedding that was meant to be simple, but it quickly turned into a series of mishaps due to an unprepared officiant, including holding the ceremony in a hallway and even saying the wrong name (twice).
That experience reinforced an important truth: while no wedding, whether it’s a courthouse ceremony, a second marriage, or an intimate celebration should ever feel impersonal or careless. Every couple deserves a ceremony that is meaningful, intentional, and reflective of their love.
